New Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations

     Irvine, Calif. (Sept. 17, 2007) - SunBridge Healthcare Corp., a subsidiary of Sun Healthcare Group, Inc. (SHG) (NASDAQ GM: SUNH), has announced the appointment of Sue Coppola as senior vice president of its clinical operations. SunBridge and its subsidiaries operate 216 long-term and post-acute care centers nationwide.
     Ms. Coppola will oversee and direct all functions relative to resident services for SunBridge. She brings more than 21 years of experience serving in both clinical and operational leadership positions within the healthcare industry. She was the former senior vice president of clinical operations at Harborside Healthcare, which was acquired by Sun Healthcare Group in April 2007. Prior to her five years at Harborside, Ms. Coppola was a healthcare consulting practice manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
